Egypt Travel Advisory On September 1, 2022

The FCDO now advises against all travel to within 20km of the Egyptian and Libyan border. This excludes the town of El Salloum where FCDO continues to advise against all but essential travel. The FCDO has lifted all restrictions on travel along the Marsa Matruh-Siwa Road and to the oasis town of Siwa ('Summary' and 'Safety and security' pages).
